ALL IN THE DETAILS: Now Roll Em’ Up Up Up!

Men, listen up. Women have a particular attraction to the typical country guy. I am not sure what it is, but I would have to blame movies like The Longest Ride or The Last Song that give us hopeless romantics a reason to cry at night. Every girl would love a guy in a nice flannel and cowboy hat to knock on her door with flowers, asking her dad if he can be lucky enough to take her to a nice dinner that night. This would explain entirely why flannels are so darn attractive on the male body. It brings them a little closer to the south, no matter where they come from. That is the reason why I chose this Fashionisto as my muse this week.

A flannel is the perfect shirt to wear on any occasion. Whether it is class, shopping or a date, you can dress it up or down easily. What this Fashionisto successfully accomplished was the grungy look by pairing his black and white flannel with a pair of navy jeans and navy Vans. His jeans are not perfectly fitted to give off a casual vibe, while his shoes seem to be worn in a little. Small details always pull an outfit together. His brown laces and brown tiny buttons along the center of his shirt really tie the outfit together.

Whether it is a nice white button-up or a navy flannel, men look better when they roll up their sleeves at the end of the night. It shows off their forearms and makes any outfit more casual. Unbuttoning the top few buttons can also help with that, and let those little chest hairs breath.

How To: It is a pretty simple process to successfully imitate this outfit. All it takes is your comfiest pair of jeans, some casual shoes that don’t clash with the color spectrum of the outfit and a soft flannel of your choosing. If you are unfamiliar with the comfort of a flannel and have yet to own one, go to any men’s clothing store and there is a guaranteed section for flannels with a variety for your choosing. Slip that puppy on, roll up your sleeves to about elbow length, unbutton the top two buttons and don’t tuck it into your pants. You are now styling the latest grunge look!
