ALL IN THE DETAILS: Lightweight Neutrals

For us Ohioans, we have totally lucked out on what awesome weather we have had during this fall season transitioning into winter. December is finally here and we have yet to see a snow storm, I repeat, we have yet to see a snow storm (shoutout to Mother Nature). In my opinion, you should always take advantage of some unexpected nice weather to show off your truly RAD style. Before we know it, this weather will be leaving us in the blink of an eye (but really). Therefore, lightweight layers, booties and accessories are still our favorite go-to pieces. Don’t pull out your winter boots and jackets just yet, the snow and dropping temperatures can hold off just a tad bit longer (or forever for that matter).

This Fashionista, as you can see is taking total advantage of the cool fall Ohio weather with her lightweight yet neutral head to toe look. On top she paired a loose fitted olive green tank top with a long knitted lightweight cardigan from H&M. On the bottom she made use of her favorite light wash ripped skinny jeans before the weather gets too chilly, which complement her brown Charlotte Russe booties. For her outfit accessories she stuck with the overall neutral color palette for consistency. She chose a thin scarf with a hidden floral pattern, which added a layered and fun effect rather than providing warmth. Her quilted over-the-shoulder bag, timepiece and bracelets added a touch of silver and gold detail to her sweet and simple look.

This Fashionista displayed an effortless way to utilize what nice weather you may have left for the season, all while paying attention to the details.

How To: Stick with lightweight neutral pieces in your wardrobe such as a basic T-shirt and your go-to cardigan. Pair with your favorite denim jeans and use your footwear and accessories to add just the right amount of pop that your outfit needs.
