When you were a kid entering kindergarten, going to the store with your mom to buy supplies was fascinating and fun. Walking into Staples, the smell of notebooks and pencils ran up your nostrils. But then the sudden realization that you get to hang out with your friends every day becomes apparent. Picking notebooks that featured cats, flowers and more girly things was fun for my mom. Yes, she got excited about school shopping, too.
My favorite part, though, was a picking a new backpack every year. There were backpacks that started to show my personality. Whether it was a solid color (representing my serious state that year), a patterned one (showing my excited mood to start school) or the leather ones. Leather started my love for the color black. The accessories you wear and the clothing you rock should display to the viewer who you are, so always be true to yourself.

This Fashionista was not afraid to show her fun personality through her ensemble of color. She rocked every color by adding a bit of simplicity to it. I love the fact that she took a risk with an intense design on a backpack. She looks wonderful!
