ALL IN THE DETAILS: Jumping In To Summer

It seems like just yesterday that I finished my last exam and was set free for summer vacation. While May was the start of summer for most college students, the rest of the country is just getting in the summer groove. As much as I hate to see that the summer solstice has come and past, I am also excited to get an official start to summer. I see more people flooding the beaches where I live and I am noticing a huge variety of different fashion trends and outfit choices that both inspire and shock me. One of my favorite and most inspired trends this summer however, is the jumpsuit.

How can you go wrong in a jumpsuit? It’s pants, it’s a top and the best part is that it’s all connected! I myself own a few jumpers, and I find an excuse to wear them everywhere. Grocery shopping, why not? I will even throw a jumpsuit over my bikini and run out to the beach, because it is just so easy.

This Fashonista, absolutely killed it in her red paisley jumpsuit, styled with her sleeveless open cardigan and very minimal accessories including an initial necklace and small starfish earrings. Her look is comfortable, breezy and essentially effortless looking (because minimal effort is involved while putting on your favorite jumpsuit). Paisley is such a classic summer print, and can be dressed up or dressed down. This Fashonista was headed off to town before she hit the beach which is a more casual occasion, but this outfit can be so easily dressed up too. By throwing on a pair of simple summer wedges, and a belt to match you are ready to go out for the evening!

How To: If you want a look just like this Fashonista, find a fun printed jumpsuit and add subtle jewelry to keep the main focus on the jumpsuit. You can pair it with a simple sleeveless cardigan or you can just let the jumpsuit speak for itself and go without one.
