ALL IN THE DETAILS: Jewels With Simplicity

With summer in full swing here in the midwest, it’s become a staple to wear only clothes that are easy to breathe, but still adorable in order to stay up with the heat. Sundresses, rompers, skater skirts and soft shorts have become the summer necessity. This lovely fashionista knew just how to handle the heat all while still looking top-notch in her white lace sundress, dark brown ankle booties and plenty of silver jewelry to go around.

Accessories are a great way of dressing down or dressing up any outfit for any occasion. In summer I feel accessories are so much more prevalent than that in winter. You have sun-hats, sunglasses, scarves, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anything else that you can fit into that list. This Fashionistas vintage bohemian dress looks great with her darling rings and earrings that give her outfit the perfect bohemian touch. The silver and detailed images and colors on the rings bring out the simplicity of this fashionistas ensemble.

This season was all about patterns and colors. In Chanel’s spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection, it was all bright colors and patterns, mixing and matching, and although I loved that collection, I love how this Fashionista managed to pull off a gorgeously simple ensemble that spoke volumes through her jewelry. The earrings that had a touch of teal and cascaded down added depth while the rings that dotted her fingers added a vintage southern touch.

I love going all out with my jewels. Accessories are my key ingredient for making any outfit pop. Adding a simple gold necklace to a black dress or even a silver bracelet to a periwinkle floral skirt can add a little something extra.

How To: Interested in creating a simple yet detailed ensemble this season? Make sure your jewelry is the item people take their attention towards. Avoid crazy colors or layers when it comes to clothing items, and keep the jewelry simple as well, with just little specks of color here and there. That way, people will really take notice.
