ALL IN THE DETAILS: Accessorize

It is 80 degrees in February thanks to the California sunshine, which means it is time to lay off the layers and pile on the jewelry. I always have trouble with picking what to wear because the weather always changes from being cool in the mornings to hot and sunny afternoons. Do you ever wonder how to use accessories to make an outfit a complete ensemble? Well, this Fashionista who I ran into does an effortless job of adding accessories to her outfit.

She wore a sleeveless burgundy shift dress and flat, tan sandals. She accessorized her outfit with a gold-tone key pendant necklace engraved with “LOVE,” a Southwestern style-print headwrap, delicate silver rings and a toe ring. The silver layered rings on her fingers were subtle, but still made a statement within her ensemble. Her jewelry also complemented her skin tone and further accentuated her outfit. These are some great examples of rings, headwraps and necklaces that would pair well your everyday dresses. A touch of minimal makeup completed this relaxed spring look.

How To: Pair a solid-colored dress with a long necklace and a few rings on your fingers. Maybe even add some bracelets or anklets for more emphasis on jewelry. Feel free to mix and match metals to find a look that works best for you. Platforms, boots or sandals can all match well with the dress, it just depends on the weather and what accessories you choose. Have fun with it because you can’t go wrong!
