BEAUTY BAR: Eye See What You Did There

We sometimes find an eyeliner routine that works for us and refuse to stray. For instance, the cat eye is a style I have grown attached to over the past three years and have been afraid to try anything new. I’ve always believed that eyeliner is a staple step in any makeup routine, so when I saw how this Fashionista transformed the everyday eye liner into this subtle ’70s dream I had to take a moment. It is subtle but so cute! It transforms your look into something a bit more playful, a bit more fun.

For this look, she painted three small eyelashes below her water line and connected them with the same liquid liner to create a look reminiscent of any Cher look from the ’70s. This Fashionista has embarked onto a eye liner territory that offers unlimited opportunity to try a new technique every morning or night! For example, don’t like the bottom lashes’ design? Try applying dots just below your water liner along your bottom lash line, or create a second wing underneath your water line! The possibilities for the under eyeliner are endless!

Whats on the BEAUTY BAR: To achieve this look, grab your favourite black eyeliner and map out your design. A liquid product with a very thin tip would work best for this look, but it all depends on what you decide to draw on the bottom lash line. The dress also adds personality to this look. I could not find the exact dress but there is no shortage of shirts with a similar design. I caught this Fashionista on the way to class and she rocked her leather backpack!
