WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Pumpkin Spice Lattes have taken over Starbucks. Halloween is just around the corner. Fashionistas are anxiously waiting to post cuddly sweater weather Instas. All the signs of fall are here. My question is, why is it late October and still as warm as a summer day?

Unfortunately, in some parts of the country, fall takes its sweet, pumpkin-spice-flavored time to arrive. October, with all of its fall festivities, can stay pretty warm up until the very end. This presents a very big (and downright annoying) dilemma for Fashionistas and Fashionistos who are all too ready to show off their fall outfits. Every morning I find myself looking between the light fabrics of my summer clothes and the cozy knits of my fall sweaters, and realize that neither one is quite appropriate for this in-between weather.

Fear not, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! There are ways to beat the weird weather blues. This colorful Fashionisto is a perfect example. Needless to say, his rainbow-striped sweater is the statement piece of this look. Pairing it with simple lightweight denim shorts and white Converse was a good way not to overdo the look. The greatest thing about this outfit (besides that sweater. That sweater is everything) is that it’s perfect for fall transition weather. You can keep your arms warm in class but not burn up walking to lunch. A shirt can be worn under the sweater depending on the temperature.

This outfit may be practical, but the accessories really make the look fun. Why limit the rainbow to just a sweater? This Fashionisto has added a rainbow bracelet to a stack of neutral ones. He’s also shown his bright style with a purple galaxy backpack complete with decorative buttons. There is no doubt that this outfit is a #RAD way to battle weird weather and be happy with your clothing choice.

One Simple Change: If the weather isn’t quite as warm where you live, switch out the shorts for some light wash boyfriend jeans and look just as casually cool.
