STYLE GURU STYLE: Geometric Spring

Spring automatically lifts up the liveliness of our wardrobe. The color palettes brighten and fun prints come out to play. I was immediately drawn to a couple of collections that scream spring, especially the Fausto Puglisi ready-to-wear collection. This collection mastered the use of colors and mod geometric prints in all different types of silhouettes. The playfulness of each look is for those who likes to be daring yet chic. So I thought I would take on my version of a Fausto Puglisi inspired look for STYLE GURU STYLE.

I’m wearing my recent favorite sweater that surprisingly matches really well with the palettes from the middle section of Fausto Puglisi’s line. This sweater mixes and matches neutral tones with a periwinkle blue, which is a color I love for spring. The geometric V crossing down the sweater really steps up the interesting factor. Since the top is quite bold on its own, I decided to keep the rest of my outfit simple. I paired my faux leather pants with black ankle boots to lengthen the look. I knew throwing some gray into the color palette would enhances it so I carried my Rockie handbag. To finish off, I’m wearing my favorite sunglasses for a sunny day in the city.

Without a doubt, Fausto Puglisi’s collection is one of my favorites from the collections I bookmarked for recreating STYLE GURU STYLE. The Italian designer’s fascinating aesthetic made me even happier to wear fun colors and prints.
