Hello everyone! My name is Mary Monsees and I am from Savannah, Georgia. I am currently a senior at the University of Georgia majoring in Fashion Merchandising. I am very excited to be apart of the Style Guru team and look forward to sharing my articles with everyone!
Clothing and fashion have always been a passion of mine. One of my favorite things to do is to read fashion blogs and magazines. I love to see what new and original ideas fashion companies are generating for their upcoming seasons and what the popular trends will be.
My personal style includes a little bit of everything. I always like to make sure I am dressed properly for whatever the weather is. My favorite fall outfit is a pair of jean shorts with an oversized sweater and fringe booties. In the spring, I always resort to casual dresses, while in the winter my go-to is dark jeans, boots and a colorful sweater. You will find me wearing the color black all year round.
Living in Athens, Georgia for the last four years has had a great influence on my sense of style. You can find amazing clothing stores all over downtown. Whether you need an outfit for a night out or for a casual lunch with friends, there is always a place to find something. The city of Athens has really opened my eyes to many different varieties of clothing and has shown me how to be more unique and creative with my own style.
