STYLE GURU BIO: Lauren Sinatra

If you are a returning reader, welcome back! Ms. Sinatra is here for another semester taking my camera and moving my fashion journey from the West to the East Coast. You probably noticed that I changed my hair a little. It’s brunette for fall!

If you’re new to this blog, welcome! If you’re curious about fashion, Syracuse or you just like to read, then you’ve come to the right place. This is where I combine Syracuse, New York with fashion and reading to give you the latest styles and trends that will be strutting around campus this fall.

Like I stated earlier, this is a fashion journey. As I move back to Upstate New York for school, we will transition from the California summer fashions to the trendy East Coast fall fashions (my favorite). Fall is my favorite season for many reasons, obviously one being the fashion. From boots to sweaters to jackets, fall is all about layers and neutral colors, both of which are necessities in a college Fashionista’s wardrobe.

At the beginning of this journey this past summer, I told you that I describe my style as potpourri. In my first bio, I gave you a little taste of my girly but edgy style. This time around, I chose to show you my casual and sportier style. One of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe is my denim jacket because it can be paired with pants, shorts or even dresses. I like my jacket to be a little bigger so I can layer it with sweaters or other jackets like my favorite white sweatshirt. I am also currently obsessed with ripped, shredded jeans. For fall, the weather gets colder and pants are more of a necessity, so why not spice up them up a little bit? Another wardrobe staple I love are my Converse, as returning readers would know. I have everything from low-top sneakers to high-top sneakers, and I recently purchased a new pair of leather ones. Converse are great for going to class looking stylish but also feeling comfortable, especially if you have to walk around campus a lot.

So whether you are a new reader or a returning Fashionista, welcome! I am so excited to continue this journey for another semester and I can’t wait to scout out all of the Syracuse Fashionistas and bring them to you. Expect to see layers, bulky sweaters and scarves, and a whole lot of boots. Ms. Sinatra takes Syracuse starts…now!
