STYLE GURU BIO: Johanna Beierle

Hey there! My name is Johanna Beierle. I am currently a sophomore studying public relations at Simpson College. I cannot wait to be a part of this amazing CollegeFashionista team and share my love of fashion and writing with you all.

I have many different styles—from bohemian to classic to edgy. My motto is “if it looks cute on, wear it.” I don’t want to only be known for one style of clothing. I love changing up my style according to my mood or the season. To me, it makes fashion and clothing way more fun. Currently, I am still loving off-the-shoulder tops/dresses and the western trend. Big buckle belts and metal chokers are some of my favorite pieces to accessorize with. I love shopping at Free People, Dry Goods, American Eagle Outfitters and Urban Outfitters.

For this look, I decided to go for a chic and casual ensemble that you can wear practically everywhere. I picked a denim shift dress and added a belt to give it more shape. I also wore my Kendra Scott look-alike necklace and a few Alex and Ani bracelets—their bracelets are my favorite way to dress up any look. To finish off the look, I threw on my new Marc Fisher lace-up heels. They are so cute and so flattering—I need them in every color!

I am so excited to share my looks and thoughts this fall semester. To keep up with my latest posts and daily life, follow me on social media. Have a #RAD semester.
