STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Keepin' it Spring Break Casual

April 4th, 2016 at 2:00am

One of the best things about being away from school is that you don’t have to constantly dress up for class or feel like you need to always look super dressy. Everyone handles Spring Break differently than others. Some are going to go to the beach and tan until they turn out like Snooki in her Jersey Shore days. Others are going to spend the week partying until there’s no mañana. Then there are some students who are going to spend their week just relaxing and enjoying not being stressed out from taking tests, doing homework and studying for exams. This Fashionista took advantage of all of these things and is taking her Spring Break to relax from all of the mayhem that is college. Her wardrobe is even taking a break as well.

I’m the type of the person who loves dressing casual and comfortable on a daily basis, so when I spotted this Fashionista, I knew I had to capture her look. The element that I really love about this outfit would definitely have to be the royal blue lace bralette. I love that she paired a plain and simple white cotton tank top with the bralette because it makes the top half of her outfit really pop in a subtle and stylish way. On the bottom half of her outfit, she paired dark demin skinny jeans with black booties. What I love so much about her fashion choices is that this Fashionista intertwined a relaxed look with some dressy elements, which spices up her casual attire a bit. Her ensemble is also very versatile, which is fantastic because you can switch certain elements in and out for each other, and you can go from day to night effortlessly. This outfit is definitely something I will be taking advantage of in the future.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Dressing casually but trendy is always the way to go because it’s important to remain comfortable when going about your day. You will almost always feel happier and more confident in whatever you’re wearing if you take the comfortable and trendy route.”
