STYLE ADVICE: Dressing for the Weather

It may still technically be winter, but spring is right around the corner and global warming is so real. With warmer winter days popping up here and there, you should always be ready to adjust your outfit accordingly. For some Fashionistas, this means ridding your winter wardrobe of the dark and heavy clothing items, and adding in some color and lighter fabrics. By doing so, you will be ready for spring in no time!

This Fashionista did a great job of creating a look that is perfect for transitioning from the cold weather of winter to the sunny, spring days ahead. For this look, this Fashionista wore a flowy, open back blouse and paired it with a classic pair of dark wash denim jeans. The jeans complemented the patterned blouse beautifully by tying back into the colors of the top. To top off the outfit, this Fashionista stuck with a timeless pair of brown lace-up combat boots. These boots are a great addition to any Fashionista’s wardrobe because they can be worn with basically anything.

As for her accessories, she kept it simple and threw on a crowd favorite, a choker. Chokers are very in right now, so run to any accessory store immediately and pick one up if you don’t own one already. The gold color in this look is perfect for adding to your daytime outfits as opposed to the heavy, black choker.

This outfit is great for that in between weather that comes with the springtime. If it is slightly cooler outside, you can easily throw on a cute jacket to make it more appropriate for the colder weather. If the weather is warm enough to go out without a jacket, grab your purse and head out the door as is. If you are looking for a cute and easy outfit to wear to class, or out to lunch on those slightly warmer days, then this is the look for you!
