WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

What to Wear

The weather may not be shining with sunshine, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be. Although it’s close to spring break, the chilly weather does not seem to be dissipating. Take cues from this Fashionista and her splashes of color.

This Fashionista’s outfit was playful for a cold day. Her winter-white sweater laid the foundation for her look. Oversized sweaters are a great look for the cold and there are multiple ways to wear them. The elbow patches were my favorite element of this Fashionista’s sweater. This sweater’s take on menswear was a cute addition, too. This Fashionista’s choice to pair her sweater with a classic skinny jean was a great pick. She  looked great pairing the high socks with gold studded combat boots. She decided to stick with gold as her accessory, stacking bracelets with her watch.

This Fashionista’s turban was very on-trend this season. Not only was a turban fully functional for keeping her ears warm on these treacherous days, but it was a great way to add color to her ensemble. This knotted turban was a knitted masterpiece. The color combination of the turban and her turquoise bohemian bag gave an exciting twist to her ensemble.

This Fashionista surely knew how to dress and even impress her classmates on a miserable day. Thus, I advise you to take a lesson from this Fashionista for the rest of these winter days. It helps bring spring to you sooner, while Mother Nature takes her time.

One Simple Change: Switch the sweater with a chiffon blouse, which is a great look to wear into the city for lunch with friends. The jewelry accessories dress up the sweater, so when they are paired with a dressier shirt, this look works for a more formal endeavor.
