FASHION FROM ABROAD: The More Faux The Better

Cruella de Vil once said: “I live for furs! I worship furs!” Yes, 101 Dalmatians could be to blame for my love of fur coats. I, like the rest of Europe, have become obsessed with giant faux fur coats. Dressed up, down, casually or not, it gives you a sense of pride to galavant around town in your giant coat that makes you feel warm and fuzzy, literally. This statement piece can accompany you through the chilly spring days to dress up your tights-with-a-summer dress look. The best part about these coats is that you can mix them with anything and it still looks fab.

This Fashionista kept her outfit with darker colors to let the jacket and accessories pop. The layering of her flannel and sweatshirt gives her look depth, which can be very hard to do sometimes. Walking around and touring ancient cities can get unexpectedly chilly. The bandana made into a small snood is genius. It brings in another color in a refreshingly new way. I love finding Fashionistas who are ready to stand out! Her red collar next to the bright blue and army green brings your attention to the top of her outfit which just so happens to be a giant furry ombré coat. She also added the perfect pair of sunnies to accompany her look. Next time you think you need a pop of color in your outfit, or to go with your fuzzy coat, try something daring like this Fashionista!

Captured: I captured this Fashionista taking a break from walking in the Roman Forum just outside of the Coliseum in Rome, Italy.
