BEAUTY BAR: In the Nude

With summer approaching fast, I often find myself keeping my makeup light and natural. When I wake up in the morning, I moisturize my face, apply a brightening cream under my eyes, and drink a large glass of water. With the sun coming out more and more each day, it is more important than ever to drink enough water during the day. Skincare and makeup have always been two of my favorite products to purchase for fun. My poor skin tries new cleanser brands almost every week because of this addiction. When it comes to makeup, lately I have been obsessing over a natural and dewy look. This look is also great for the upcoming warmer weather. Nothing is worse than applying a perfect full face of makeup and having it melt away in the summer heat. This Fashionista had a similar idea with her light makeup for this hot spring weather.

For this look, she tried to keep it light and natural for this Fashionista. First she prepped her skin with coconut oil, which is a great moisturizer for all skin types, then started on her makeup. To create a good base but still keep it natural, she used a dewy B.B. Cream. Then did some light contouring under her cheek bones using the Hoola Matte Bronzer. This bronzer is great for a more natural look when applied lightly and becomes dramatic with layering. To make her cheekbones pop she used the Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up Highlighter. This highlighter does a great job of creating a dewy subtle glow. Next, she added a light tan eyeshadow to complement her eye color. And she finished off the look by adding some shine to her lips, and the High Shine Color Lipgloss from Ulta did the trick. In the end, this natural makeup look is a great and quick look to rock every day!
