Often times I see guys around campus dressed pretty casually, and I can’t even blame them. Jeans and joggers seem pretty comfortable, especially considering the cold, frigid weather we’ve recently been getting in Knoxville. That being said, every once in a while I’ll run into an impeccably dressed man who isn’t afraid to show off his sartorial aesthetic.
This was the case with this Fashionisto. His whole outfit combination was expertly put together and thought out, from the different textures to the patterns to the color scheme. It was almost as if he had walked off the recent fall/winter 2015 runways. His cool, fresh style was evident through the pieces he wore and contrasted against his fun, playful personality.
Instead of resorting to the typical college boy uniform of jeans and a North Face jacket, this Fashionisto reached for a tailored gray coat over his graphic pullover and black and white joggers. The sweater and joggers set is both easy and casual, but the coat and the choice accessories this Fashionista included dressed up his look. Besides his black combat boots and cheetah print detailed backpack, he also wore reflective round sunglasses and diamond earrings in addition to a cool pin on his coat lapel.
I absolutely adored this Fashionisto’s confidence and how it seeped through his amazing ensemble. Instead of blending in with the majority of guys on Rocky Top in basics, he dressed up a cool set with an amazing coat and equally amazing accessories. Talk about a well-dressed man.
How To: Boys, don’t be afraid to dress up your look with some accessories. Take a hint from this Fashionisto and rock a pin on your collar or even a pair of trendy sunglasses. Ladies, don’t be afraid to borrow from the boys and do the same with a fun backpack or combat boots.
