ALL IN THE DETAILS: Belts Are Back

You heard it here first, belts are making a comeback. Especially when paired with anything high-wasted. This trend is coming in along with the wave of other ’70s trends that are taking over spring and fall runways. As seen on the Fashionista above, belts look great with button-up shirts that are tucked in. However, this isn’t the only way to style your belt. They look great over suede, a-line dresses or even simply with low-rise bell bottoms.

We’ve all been obsessing over Kendall Jenner rocking different variations of this high-wasted jean and belt combination, and we’re not ashamed to admit it. The perks? This look is flattering and effortless. It accentuates the smallest part of your waist and keeps your pants and top securely in place. Wear your belt with a crop top in the summer and transition it into fall with a long sleeve turtle neck or silky blouse. The combinations are endless.

A belt brand to check out this season is B-Low The Belt. The Bri Bri Belt can be seen on many celebs this season. They also offer classic black belts along with details such as studs, fringe and knots. If you’re looking for a stylish belt at a more budget-friendly price, Forever 21 makes many similar styles including my personal favorite that you can shop, here.

How To: So you’ve got the belt, now what? Grab a pair of groovy, circular shades, bell-bottom jeans and suede booties. You will look like the polished, trendy and boho-chic girl you’ve been seeing on the blogs and in the magazines. Just make sure to tuck in your shirt to give your belt the true attention that it deserves.
