WHAT TO WEAR: Workout

Most people might say the gym is no place for a good outfit. But I, along with many other Fashionistas, would have to disagree. Whether you are running outside, running to class or running on the treadmill, work out clothes can be just as chic as your day-to-day outfits.

This Fashionista is a perfect example of the sporty-yet-fashionable look. With simply leggings and tank, she adds a pop of color with her hot pink sports bra. So simple, yet so cool. Not only does she add color, but also a touch of pattern in her black and white striped headband. It’s all in the details!

Just because you are going to work out, does not mean you can’t have accessories! Here, this Fashionista wears a watch, two scrunchies and a necklace. There’s nothing wrong with sweating in swatches!

Those aren’t the only things that keep this outfit stylish. This Fashionista’s top bun keeps it fresh and up-to-date. Along with her hair, tying her sweater around her waist adds a nice touch, and it’s also super convenient. Sometimes tying your sweater around your waist can be a distraction to your outfit. But in this case, it works perfectly!

Another thing to note about this outfit is the use of color. I know it’s not always easy to wear bright colors in your day-to-day outfits. But I’ll let you in on a little secret: it’s totally cool when it’s for your workout! In fact, workout clothes would be pretty boring without funky colors and patterns.

One Simple Change: Going to class after a rigorous workout? Change the workout leggings to a pair of jean shorts, throw down your hair and you’ll be good to go!
