WHAT TO WEAR: Workout

Remember those resolutions you made on New Year’s vowing that this was finally the year you were going to get in shape? I make that promise to myself every year, but it always fizzles out by January 2nd. This year, however, was different. I decided to make a change in my life and my biggest struggle is trying to find something to wear to the gym that’s comfortable and cute, but not restricting.

This Fashionista’s outfit is perfect for whatever you decide to do at the gym that day. Whether you just want to go on a treadmill run or lift some weights, it’s an outfit that is loose and comfortable, but definitely isn’t that stained T-shirt you’ve been wearing for most of the week.

Wearing something cute to the gym helps motivate you and makes you feel more confident. This Fashionista was definitely giving off those “I’m confident” vibes. My favorite part about this look is the open back on the shirt. The deep V not only lets your skin breath when you’re sweating, but also lets your super cute sports bra show a little bit. I also like that these running shorts were chosen to complete the sporty look, instead of spandex. While, yes, spandex is cute, a lot of us wear spandex and yoga pants all the time. Plus, running shorts means that you don’t have to keep pulling down your spandex every time they ride up when you squat or go on a run. Am I the only one with this problem?

One Simple Change: Going on vacation this summer? Swap out the shorts and Nike’s for some denim and super cute sandals. This way, you’ll be ready to travel long hours, but will still make a statement with the open back shirt.
