WHAT TO WEAR: Valentine's Day Date

Valentine’s Day is here and love is in the air (for some). No matter what your plans are (a romantic night with your significant other or ordering pizzas and enjoying ice cream in with your best friends), wear what makes you fall in love with yourself! An outfit that makes you feel confident and beautiful is the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit, no matter what your celebrations involve.

I caught up with this Fashionista heading out on a dinner date. She described this outfit as perfect for a romantic dinner, because she feels great in it. The oversize sweater and black, ripped jeans add a level of comfort to the outfit, while the heels and jewelry make it dressy enough for the occasion. Although around the time of Valentine’s Day life may seem like a swirl of light reds and pinks, the weather can still be brutally cold. The dark colors in this outfit fit well with the winter season, while the rust adds some warmth for the holiday. The outfit is overall pretty casual, so can easily be worn to any restaurant or event. Although this Fashionista is heading out on a date, this Valentine’s Day outfit could be worn out with friends too! Whether you are spending the night grabbing drinks with girl friends or at a fancy dinner, a warm, cute, and casual outfit like this one will leave you feeling confident and stylish.

Replicating this outfit is super easy! Just throw on a pair of black jeans, an oversize sweater, open toe booties, and any cute accessories that fit your personal style. This Fashionista chose a long, stone necklace, gold rings, a Michael Kors watch, and a Longchamp tote.

Now fellow Fashionistas/os, my advice to you is to take advantage of this time of year and put together an outfit that is not only fashionable but empowering. Then, go out with friends, family, or a significant other, and enjoy yourself!
