WHAT TO WEAR: Traveling

Traveling has definitely been the main topic of conversation lately. It seems that all of my friends are leaving or have already left to go back to school for the fall semester. Everyone has to make hard decisions between what to pack and what to leave at home. I can already picture myself all packed up in my car, stuffed between boxes and furniture, ready to embark on the first semester of my sophomore year.

Before I pack up everything, I have to remember to leave out one outfit for the four and a half hour car ride down to Blacksburg, Virginia. As much as I would love to just throw on a pair of sweatpants, a sweatshirt and throw my hair into a messy bun, I also know that I will most likely want to do everything and see everyone right when I get to school. For this reason I am going to go with a comfortable yet still cute ensemble just like this Fashionista.

This Fashonista paired a big comfortable boyfriend style T-shirt with her light wash ripped jeans for a cozy look. Her white high-top Converse are ideal for this outfit and perfect for traveling, especially for going back to school. Sneakers like Converse are a great shoe option for traveling because they are easy to run around in and unlike flip flops, you don’t have to worry about tripping over them when you are carrying your endless boxes of stuff to your room. She also added some fun rings, a bracelet and a really cool watch to her look for a little extra flare.

One Simple Change: If you are worried about being too hot in a pair of jeans, trade in the jeans for a pair of plain black or navy cropped leggings. Leggings are also comfortable and great for traveling in.
