WHAT TO WEAR: Sunny and Cold Outings

While we transition into the beautiful spring season, we unfortunately have to deal with the slushy mess and blinding light as the sun reflects off the white of the remaining snow. So not only is it important to stay warm, but also to protect your eyes—no matter if you are just walking across campus or out on the town with your friends. Lately, I seem to always be searching for cool new sunglasses and boots (which seems like an odd mix). I was immediately drawn to this look for these reasons and knew I had to share it with all of you.

This Fashionista meshes style and comfort perfectly. The key to her outfit here is the super trendy sunglasses. They add the perfect amount of character to her look and are very practical. The next best part of her outfit is in the expert layering of the turtleneck sweater and cinched waist jacket. This cleverly reduces the need for a scarf and thus keeps the outfit simple. The destroyed hem jean trend is in full effect and paired nicely with a pair of ankle boots.

This look will not only keep you warm on those deceivingly cold yet sunny days, but give you the edgy, cool, school girl vibe you are going for. This outfit can also be made even more comfortable by switching the jeans out for a nice pair of leggings and flat sneakers. This would be perfect for mid-term shuffle as it’s comfortable and requires minimal effort to put together!
