WHAT TO WEAR: Neutrals, Neutrals, Neutrals!

Upstate New York is notorious for delivering a chilly spring season. Fashionistas and Fashionistos up here see snow up until April most years. Planning to dress for the weather while also dressing to impress is tough, but here is an idea for what to wear on a cool spring day!

This look is perfect for a day out with friends. Whether you’re going to lunch, a museum trip, or walking through town, this look is not only insanely comfortable, but it is also stylish and simple to put together! To start off, this Fashionista went for a basic pair of denim. In her look, she chose a dark wash denim but you could always do light wash, black, whatever denim your heart desires. Next, she showed off her unique sweater that is to die for. The top half knit while the bottom half is a flowy satin-silk fabric. Then this Fashionista grabbed her dark chestnut ankle booties to go with the neutral theme of the look. Cuffing jeans is such a huge trend recently so of course she had to do it too. No chilly spring outfit is complete without a leather jacket. This Fashionista traded in a typical black leather jacket for a mahogany-colored one instead. The bag featured is a playful spin on your regular black crossbody bag. The pop of cheetah print compliments the beige in the sweater as well as the brown hues in the jacket and boots. Last but not least, this Fashionista picked a gold statement necklace, matching the hardware on the bag, to tie the whole look together.

The neutrals in this look are easy to mix and match, you can even add in some patterns, and are perfect tones to end the winter season in and get ready for spring, or at least a chilly spring!
