Spring is almost here, so welcome good weather!
It is true, and kind of sad, that we have to start letting go of our cozy sweaters. However, we are saying hello to all the beautiful colors of spring. Yes, I said colors… and I know what you are thinking, because colors can be challenging. Believe me, if you look at my wardrobe, about 80 percent of it is black. I do believe that getting out of your comfort zone and experimenting is always a good idea.
Color is what caught my attention from this Fashionista. In a sea of dull and plain colors, there was this beautiful mustard that stood out from the crowd. I was instantly jealous because I thought I could never pull off something with such a vibrant color. I have always thought of myself as more of a dark color person, and to be honest, I do not own anything in any shade of yellow, or anything as intense.
However, this Fashionista opened my eyes. It is very possible to make powerful colors work with the rest of your clothes and have a killer outfit.
For this outfit, this Fashionista wore a mustard yellow cardigan. The color is very intense, but not bright, which makes a beautiful match with her jeans and skin color. She is also wearing a button-down white shirt, that is slightly transparent, paired with a cool black bralette. She added great touches with her animal print shoes and black bandana. She kept her jewelry simple with small earrings, a couple of rings, and these rad sunglasses.
Now that springtime is coming, mix your colors up! Go out and try new shades that you’ve never worn, or maybe some new prints. Black is awesome, but don’t forget that there are many other colors that could surprise you.
