WHAT TO WEAR: Library

Though it is summer break, lots of us may still need to go to the library whether studying for the summer classes or preparing for a GRE exam. The library does not mean a place where fashion does not occur. A pair of sweatpants and a hoodie can make you feel comfortable. Yet, is there a look that is trendy and comfortable at the same time, meanwhile does not look too dressy?

This Fashionista’s all-black look provides us a great answer of the question.  The master of black, Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto once said, “Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy, but mysterious. But above all, black says this: ‘I don’t bother you, don’t bother me.” Playing with the textures and fabrics is one golden rule of rocking an all-black look. The black leather jacket and the shiny nylon leggings are the elements that serve as a diamond of the simple outfits. The big black tote bag can not only hold your heavy books, but it can also add another different texture to the look. The black and white hat is going to be a life saver on your lazy day that you do not want to do your hair. When putting together several layers of black, texture speaks of the color. This look is like a sushi box in the dining hall, “grab-to-go” but delicious.

One Simple Change: Want to have some fun after a day of studying and head to the bars? Take off the hat and trade the boots for a pair of pointed heels. Wear some poppy red lipstick. You will definitely be the one who lights up the night.
