WHAT TO WEAR: Library

April 20th, 2015 at 2:00am

Attending school in the Midwest is hard because it seems there isn’t anywhere that you need to look cute to be. It can be repetitive and you will probably find yourself in a fashion lull more than once throughout the year. Surrounded by black leggings and Greek letters at the library, you have probably found yourself falling into that rut as well to try and stay “comfortable.”

Well guess what? No more lazy days at the library. It’s time to dress to impress and this Fashionista exhibits a perfect look for the library. You never know what the temperature in the library might be. In the spring and summer months, you might show up in jean shorts and then suddenly it will feel like you are in the frozen tundra of Russia. To prepare for varying temperatures, this Fashionista adds a few layers to her outfit to insure a comfortable studying ensemble.

The maroon long sleeved T-shirt is thin enough to deserve a cute jacket in the spring months when the weather is inconsistent. She opted for a stylish military jacket in the classic army green. Just like this Fashionista, don’t be afraid to mix contrasting colors. In her case, the maroon and army green create the perfect color combination. Her jeans and jacket are both comfortable enough to be worn to the library for long hours of studying. Styling her outfit with a camel-colored cross-body bag and a pair of strappy sandals, she is ready to start her midterm studying.

One Simple Change: Have a hot date after the library? Swap the maroon T-shirt for a cute tank top that is a little more playful for a date night look. Take it one step closer a switch out the cross body bag for a nice clutch.
