WHAT TO WEAR: Interviews

Alright ladies, the semester has been in session and it’s time to get started discovering what else can fit into your schedule. You could volunteer or learn a new skill online, but if a job or internship sounds appealing this article may be able to help you out.

This Fashionista caught my attention right away because I just adored her fall coloring. This sounds unthinkable, I know, but I have been to interviews where they didn’t want someone who was “too fashionable,” (as if there is such a thing). She was able to take these strange regulations and use them in a way that still showed off her inner Fashionista.

She mixed the summer color of peach with black trousers to create extreme contrast. Then, she added a warm, beige blazer to tone down the bold colors and give her outfit more of a fall look. To accessorize her look, she added some delicate peach studs to her ears and a small sunflower bracelet to her wrist. They are subtle, but as they say, a little goes a long way. This way she was able to maintain a professional look, while still showing off her fashion sense.

I found her as she was coming back from an interview on campus, and the great news is she got the job. We are so proud of her, but even prouder she was able to maintain her sense of style despite some restrictions. Way to go, girl!

One Simple Change: When this outfit is paired with some beige wedges or heels, instead of strappy sandals, this could be a potential date night outfit. Enjoy!
