WHAT TO WEAR: Internship

Working long hours can never be fun; however, if you must work all day, at least do it in style! I imagine this is exactly how this Fashionisto felt getting ready for work this morning. This situation reminds me of when I used to work at a spa and my uniform consisted of black yoga pants. It really cramped my style, but I made it work; I would pair different types of tops and cardigans to bring personality to my outfit. He works in retail, so he has much more leeway than I ever did. Working in retail can be an everyday fashion show between you and coworkers, so you have to bring your A-game.

This Fashionisto’s look is appropriate for a retail job because it is comfortable, stylish and he gets to express himself through his clothing at work. His outfit consists of a striped pocket T-shirt; it’s a simple, yet affordable. He made his own distressed jeans. If you are not that handy with a pair of scissors, here are some slim distressed jeans. His accessory of choice is a vintage Stussy international snapback that has been discontinued. One Simple Change: After working long days, night falls and you may want to go and hang out with friends.Personally, I would add a Tartan plaid flannel. I think it’s a perfect outfit at work and after work play with friends at the skate park. His style is skater boy, which is appropriate for work and for when he wants to have an adventure!
