WHAT TO WEAR: Hot in Hollywood

For my Easter break, I decided to escape NYC for a little and see what the hype about the West Coast was. Everything they say about LA being health friendly is completely true. From all-vegan restaurants to gyms on every block, these LA lads definitely know how to keep in shape! Along with the fresh lifestyle they live, they have great landmarks that are a must see. One being the Hollywood sign!

This Fashionista found the perfect way to mix her chic style in this not too hot not too cold weather. The sun was beaming in Hollywood, but the breeze was strong. Her sleeveless bodysuit tucked right into her high-waisted black denim shorts for a casual day look. To pair, she tied a chiffon long sleeve tunic around her waist, allowing her to grab the layer if the wind picked up. The fun pattern also adds a new element to her outfit. My favorite, of course, were the over-the-knee suede heeled boots. They dressed up the Fashionista’s whole look, perfect for grabbing lunch or dinner with a friend or doing some shopping. Also they looked quite comfortable, and since it wasn’t normal, hot LA weather it gave her a little coverage on her legs.

Of course, the Fashionista had to accessorize. I loved her silver Alex and Ani bracelets. With her gray neutral outfit, it pulled the look together and made it a little more than just casual. What caught my attention initially, however, was her huge top sock bun. It was so perfectly and effortlessly sitting there! A smart hairdo, as the wind wouldn’t be able to mess up her hair. Lastly, she finished off the look with her Tom Ford wayfarer sunglasses. What a casual, yet stylish look to have for the Lake Hollywood Park and some amazing photo ops with the Hollywood sign!
