The school year is practically over for the Fighting Illini and we have transitioned into the homestretch of the semester: finals. Finals are mentally the toughest time of the year. While your mind drifts to the newly warm weather or to your anticipated summer internship, you are stuck in the library for countless hours. So, why not have some fun with your “library look?” You want to be comfortable enough to sit and study, but also look and feel on your “A” game.

This Fashionista’s display of the library look is on point. Her black tank top is form-fitting and keeps the look clean and ready to study. The jersey fabric of it keeps the Fashionista comfortable and warm when in the library as well. She tucks the tank top into a floral miniskirt, making the ensemble lighter and more playful. Floral prints are very popular in spring and the Fashionista I spotted took on this trend with full force.

Her gladiator sandals bring a more formal look to the outfit. Rather than wear a pair of flip flops, this Fashionista chose a sandal that keeps with the clean, sophisticated look of her clothing. The jewels on her sandals mirror the playfulness of her flowy mini skirt. Her backpack gives the ensemble an unexpected edge with its denim fabric and leather lining. Mixing and matching different fabrics and patterns is an easy way to make your look stand out. This Fashionista made floral, leather and bleached denim work for her even in the most stressful of times.

One Simple Change: Having a weekend study session and need a break? Pair this outfit with a black felt hat and oversized sunglasses for the perfect weekend wear.
