WHAT TO WEAR: Fall

With fall starting to come to a close, the weather in New York has gone from the mid 60s to the unfortunate 40s. The leaves have completely changed colors and have fallen to the ground and the cool breeze has overtaken the city. This means it’s time to layer up and bring out the heavy coats. Instead of whipping out the big Canada Goose from the back of your closet, you can dress in style with unique layers that add a different element to your outfit. Fall is the perfect time to wear a new array of colors that are unfitting for spring or summertime.

With the weather the way it is, it’s easy to just dress in all black. However, this month’s Fashionisto perfectly exemplifies the fall colors at work. He sports a plaid, collared long sleeve shirt that pops out behind a quilted, maroon sweater. He then pairs this with coffee colored pants, perfectly contrasting the colors of his sweater and shirt. To pull this look together and make it complete, he finishes it off with navy boat shoes and a gray trench coat. The colors of this outfit work well together and make it unique from other potentially boring fall looks out there.

Despite the earlier sunsets and rapidly dropping temperatures, don’t think it’s difficult to dress with color. It’s very easy to be warm, fashionable and colorful all at the same time!
