It’s finally fall! That means hot drinks, pretty leaves and most importantly, fall fashion. A nice buffer between summer and winter, fall is the perfect season to try new trends. However, as many of my fellow Marylanders know, our fall weather is always unpredictable. So how can you dress appropriately for the weather and stay chic at the same time? In a state where in the course of a single school day it can easily go from below freezing to sweltering hot, it is a daily struggle to find an outfit that will keep you comfortable. Luckily, I have found a Fashionisto with the perfect outfit for Maryland’s “fall” weather.

This Fashionisto chose to keep things simple and stuck to an overall dark color palette. Staying in the same color scheme is a smart trick for any season as it prevents your outfit from looking too busy. This Fashionisto wore a navy sweater and dark blue jeans. The sweater is warm, but not extremely warm. Thinner sweaters are perfect for fall. Next, this Fashionisto matched his belt with his shoes which is a fashion must as It brings a sense of cohesion to the entire look. He also cuffed his jeans. Cuffing your jeans is not only trendy, but also extremely practical as it in a way tailors them. Not to mention, it can also add a polished touch to any outfit. To finish off his look, this Fashionisto accessorized with a gold watch and some stacked beaded bracelets.

One Simple Change: Layer a collared top underneath. This dresses up the look and adds warmth for colder weather.
