WHAT TO WEAR: Day to Night

Many graduates say that they had some of the best times of their lives in college. For those of us still here, I think we will look back and probably agree; however, no one ever told us it would also become some of the busiest times that included hours of studying, working and, of course, socializing.

As every Fashionista knows, we must always dress to impress, no matter how crazy busy our schedules get. We never turn down the opportunity to look our best. So how exactly does one transform from a busy day of catching up with errands into a night out with friends? This Fashionista has mastered the day to night style transformation.

The key to creating an outfit to wear throughout the day and into night is comfort. The last thing you need is to be cruising around town in shoes that are killing your feet or pants that are too small. In order to last into the night, this is a crucial element when deciding on what to wear.

With fall in full swing here in San Diego, we love to throw on our favorite faux fur jackets whenever the temperature dips even a degree below 65. Adding a cute oversized coat to this outfit adds an easy touch of color and an extra layer if it gets chilly during the evening.

When styling an outfit for day to night, you can never go wrong with a chic, all black look. This black low cut fringe top is casual and comfortable for the day, yet edgy and flirty for nighttime fun.

These black ripped skinny jeans are the perfect go-to bottom in your closet this fall because of the versatility. To top off this chic look, she also incorporated black silver studded cowboy boots, funky silver rings and a black tote.

One Simple Change: Switch from a pair of flat black boots into a killer chunky heel, add a splash of color to your lips and you’re ready to take on the town with your friends for a girl’s night out.
