My favorite season is finally here: concert season! Whether it’s Lollapalooza, Country Fest or Drake, there is a concert for everyone this summer. Concerts are one of my favorite things to do over the summer in addition to being a chance to explore fashion trends. It is a fun event for taking fashion risks, always keeping in mind comfort and throwing on a pair of dancing shoes.

I spotted this Fashionista outside of Boston Calling, a three day indie and pop rock music festival that takes place in Boston, MA every year. This Fashionista is a master at mixing the girly girl look with the tomboy. Her white crop top and wavy hair are more on the softer side, while her studded camouflage bag and ripped jeans add an edge. She is pictured showing off some of the hottest trends of the summer, including the off-the-shoulder look, the ’90s style choker and white sneakers.

Comfort and heat are the two biggest concerns when it comes to deciding what to wear to a summer concert. Picking an outfit that is comfortably cute is the smartest decision. The easiest way to stay comfy at a concert is picking a solid pair of shoes to wear that you will be able to dance the night away in. This Fashionista does so by sporting her adidas superstar sneakers. To tackle the heat, a crop top or a loose dress are always safe options.

Don’t be afraid to take bold risks when attending your concert of choice this summer and don’t forget to bring your camera to snap some cute pics of your outfit!

One Simple Change: To make this outfit more casual for running errands or going to class, swap the tight fitting crop top for a loose, white T-shirt. This makes the outfit even more comfy and adds to the tomboy look.
