During the summer outdoor concerts are always fun; Memphis has free concerts at the Levitt Shell, as well as the Beale Street Music Festival which occurs in May. It can be quite difficult deciding on what to wear to a concert. It tends to get hot, but chillier as the night goes on. Dancing or not, almost everyone wants to feel comfortable while at a concert. Without outfit distractions, people are able to enjoy the night. This Fashionista adds layers to her outfit, as well as comfortable fabrics in order to construct the perfect look for summer music.

This Fashionista brings an edgier look to an everyday concert wardrobe. The light wash denim shorts, unbuttoned flannel, Converse and graphic tank are perfect. By wearing the flannel with the graphic tank top underneath, she can shed layers if need be. Comfortable shoes are a must for most concerts because most of the time you are standing; the Converse are great for that. Loose fitting and causal pieces allow you to focus on the music and having a good time rather than a wardrobe malfunction.

Concerts are a huge part of summer fun, so make sure you follow this Fashionista and get her look!

One Simple Change: If the concert is over and colder weather has approached, try adding an army jacket over the outfit or switch the tank top to a light sweater. This will definitely add warmth and keep the structure of an edgier concert look.
