WHAT TO WEAR: Class

May 18th, 2016 at 2:00am

The weather in Santa Cruz has been fluctuating more than ever lately. Every single student is so weather confused because each day is completely different, going from 90 degrees one day and then being overcast and cold the next day. This Fashionista was caught during a colder day, bringing out her winter clothes in May. Although we love our winter wardrobes, everyone is ready for a steady summer season. In case there are many other cities having the same issue with this awkward weather, this Fashionista shows everyone how to still look good in warm clothes during the cold days while going to class.

This Fashionista is wearing a simple outfit that can be transitioned throughout the day according to what our weather apps tell us. She is wearing comfortable black leggings that, let’s be honest, every girl wears as real pants. Leggings are 100 percent more flattering for some unknown reason and also go with anything. This Fashionista is also wearing a cute blue and red flannel. Blue and red are colors that most people wear all year around, so whether she wears her flannel buttoned up for the cold morning or open it up with a tank and rolled sleeves, the colors are great for this time of the year!

This Fashionista is wearing a grey knit infinity scarf with enough sequins to give the scarf some extra detail. She can wear the scarf in the morning or night when it is cooler, but take it off for the middle of the day while the sun is out. She is also wearing a pair of beautiful black riding boots. These boots go with many outfits and the buttons on the sides give them a unique look.

One Simple Change: If the sun comes out for summer, wear a lace-up tank, or some kind of simple tank top and open up the button-up shirt. You can also change out of the boots and into some cute sandals.
