WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

Who doesn’t love brunch? This Sunday ritual has become a huge part of every college student’s life in recent years. There’s nothing like grabbing your closest group of friends, putting on your latest trendy outfit and going to your favorite brunch spot for yummy food and maybe a mimosa or two. I find myself wanting to go to brunch as often as I can.

This Fashionista is wearing the perfect outfit for a weekend brunch. She paired a basic three-quarter length T-shirt with an army green vest. The winter season is a great time for layering. With today’s weather, one second it can be cold outside and the next second warm. Layering not only gives your outfit dimension but also allows you the ability to take pieces off as the day and weather changes. To go with her look, she paired the T-shirt and vest with a basic pair of blue jeans. I love this Fashionista’s jeans because they are not too skinny and not too flared. The jeans have just enough flare at the bottom to pair with her wedges.

For the final touches to her outfit, she added a sun hat, a necklace and a few bracelets. Accessories to me are very important for every outfit. They are what tie your entire look together and add a little extra. My favorite accessory she is wearing is her sun hat. We’ve seen these floppy hats become a major trend this past season and will continue to see them in the spring and summer seasons. This Fashionista is dressed and ready for a great day of Sunday brunch!

One Simple Change: Not in the mood for brunch? This outfit works great for tailgating. As the winter season comes to an end and spring begins, you can wear this and be perfectly content while outdoors! If you’re planning on attending a sports event after the tailgate, maybe consider switching the heels for a cute pair of booties or your favorite pair of Converse.
