Living in Oxford, Mississippi, everyone knows the popular brunch places. We all know where you can get endless mimosas and the best omelets on a weekend morning. On or off the square, brunch is a weekly event that we Ole Miss Rebels can not stray away from. From Big Bad Breakfast to Burgundy Room, you always want to make sure you are wearing comfortable pants when you are stuffing yourself with a southern delicacy like Shrimp and Grits.

This Fashionisto knows exactly how to stay comfy while filling his belly with soul food. He is wearing a classic, Lacoste, solid oxford button-down shirt and white-washed Wrangler jeans. This meets both of my brunch clothing guidelines: comfiness and style. The white-washed jeans makes a very masculine statement. Adding loafers, helps to keep the look classic. The colors of the look coordinate perfectly with one another. The yellowness of the shirt does not clash with the white-washed finish of the jeans. The chocolate color of the loafers helps adds some definition to the jeans. The accessories this Fashionisto is wearing gives the look more bling, but they do not overshadow the basics of his outfit.

Lacoste carries clothing for both men and women, but has always been a big staple in men’s “preppy” fashion. This designer gives both Fashionitos/as the perfect go-to looks. These fashions make for a perfect look for any occasion but it’s great for a daytime brunch outfit.

One Simple Change: Do you have a job interview or formal dinner to attend? To make this look more professional and sophisticated, add a tie or bowtie.
