WHAT TO WEAR: Back to School

As summer fades away and we head back to our college campuses, there is so much to stress about! There are so many things you have to get done like getting your books, setting up your dorm and getting involved in campus activities. I’ve come to learn that there are simply never enough hours in the day when you’re in college. So, why does picking out your back to school clothes have to be stressful too? I think that being stylish but comfortable is one of the most important things to keep in mind while picking out your outfits in the morning. But, just because you’re short on time doesn’t mean that your overall look has to suffer and that you can’t look fabulous walking across campus! As Karl Lagerfeld once said, “Sweatpants are a sign of defeat.”

So make your first few weeks back stylish and easy by taking a page out of this Fashionista’s book! I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a good romper. Rompers are so versatile and can easily be dressed up or down with the change of accessories. Not to mention, you don’t have to worry about putting anything together because a romper is an entire outfit built into one!

Choosing a subtle print in a bright color, like the one this Fashionista chose, is a great choice for the first few weeks of class when it is still warm outside. In Virginia, the weather is so unpredictable, so you never know if it is going to be extremely hot or raining! Wearing a romper ,like the one above, would look great paired with a light sweater to keep you warm if there’s an unexpected rain shower. Also, by wearing a simple but put together outfit like the one shown above, you are making a great impression on your professors and your classmates. You can never go wrong by dressing to impress!

One Simple Change: Why wear a romper like the one shown on this Fashionista just to class? As I said before, college life is fast paced, and sometimes there isn’t enough time to go from event to event and change beforehand. This romper can easily be transitioned from class to date night by pairing it with the right accessories! Pair it with some chunky brown leather wedges and a belt. Not only will your outfit impress in class, but it’ll impress your date as well!
