These Seven Looks Will Make You Step Out Of Your Fashion Comfort Zone

We’re all guilty of it. We find our personal style and then stay comfortably within that fashionable safety net. I get it—it’s much easier to grab that trusty T-shirt and jeans than to step out in a style you have never tried before. But what good has ever come from playing it safe?

Our CollegeFashionista Style Gurus constantly inspire us to change it up. Check out these looks that will have you switching up your style, as well!

1—Fishnets under denim. An unusual combination that you wouldn’t think works but (as this Style Guru proves) totally does. (Photo via @gabscherer)

2—Next level denim jackets. We’ll take all the embellishments, shearling and patches. K thanks. (Photo via @lucyhelenaa)

3—T-shirt Dress 2.0. Don’t waste time buying a “T-shirt dress.” Instead, just literally wear a T-shirt as a dress. And add thigh-high boots if you are looking to take the look from cool to Kylie, like this Style Guru. (Photo via @denae_belillti)

4—Pastels. Pink pants? For fall? In the immortal words of Miranda Priestly: “Groundbreaking.” (But for real. We’re impressed.) (Photo via @shelbyshowell)

5—“Two” Trendy. Overalls or turtlenecks? Why choose one trend over the other? This Style Guru rocked both in a single look for an OOTD worth the double tap. (Photo via @iammasima)

6—Crop It Right Now. Cropped joggers, leather jacket and top; we love this Style Guru’s play with proportions. This look proves short is definitely sweet. (Photo via @alyssaguia)

7—Nailing ’90s. Why try out one ’90s denim trend when you can (and should) rock ’em all? We don’t know which to talk about first: the embroidery detail, vintage cut or the #RAD denim jacket? (Photo via @n.c.sweet)
