STYLE GURU STYLE: Spinning into Spring

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be back this month! School started three weeks ago, and I’m just now getting back into the groove of things. This semester is going to be long, but hopefully it’ll still be fun. I had so much fun shooting this outfit with my friends! I hope you enjoy it.

This outfit is ideal for the winter to spring transition. Here in Oklahoma the weather keeps switching between 40 degrees and 70 degrees. This shirt is amazing for spring. I bought mine from Zara, but this is a similar option. It’s light and airy, but it also works great for layering with a coat, especially this pink one. The coat is one of my absolute favorite purchases this season. Pink is super popular this year; however, this pink is a little different. Blush has been the color that has been ruling the season, but I like this Pepto Bismol-pink because it’s reminiscent of Jackie Kennedy’s famous pink suit. The coat isn’t too heavy either, so it works great in those in-between temperatures, but it’ll still keep you warm if you wear it with a long sleeve shirt. Mine is from Zara, but here is a similar option. The ripped jeans add a nice edginess to the outfit and make it more interesting. They are so comfortable, and the fit is absolutely perfect. These jeans are a great staple to add to your closet because they add a nice oomph to any type of outfit. Here is a similar pair. The snakeskin boots tie the outfit together perfectly. They are cheap and comfortable too! I absolutely adore snakeskin and haven’t been able to take these off since I bought them. I bought mine from Target, but here is another option.

This outfit is awesome for the winter to spring transition because it can keep you warm, but the colors are springy. It also would be a great outfit for a Valentine’s Day date. I hope you enjoyed this article, and everyone is having a great month. Have a happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
