STYLE GURU STYLE: Rust Colored Dresses

Who else is ready for fall? It canโ€™t come quick enough! Iโ€™ve been using every excuse to layer up and sip hot tea. Already this summer Iโ€™ve been caught sweating in felt hats and wearing booties with my skirts and dresses in anticipation for the cooler weather. This week, I was inspired by Esteban Cortazarโ€™s fall 2015 collection. His combination of rustic reds and charcoal blacks amidst layers of fabric give the collection a classic cold weather vibe, but take it up to an edgy notch. Who doesnโ€™t need a little bit more edge in their life?

In my look, I mimicked some of the colors in the collection. I was really inspired by look number three. The metal details on the jacket give a little structure to the otherwise loose-fitting outfit. The outfit really consists of two colors, which keeps it simple, but it still has a level of sophistication because of the different hues and contrasts in the look. I threw a classic black leather moto jacket over a jersey T-shirt dress. The T-shirt dress is perfect for this in-between weather thatโ€™s been going on lately; the dress is loungy and thin, so itโ€™s cool enough to wear in the evening heat. I also added a felt hat to my outfit, which as I said earlier, has become quite the staple of mine recently. To complete my look I threw on black leather mules, which keep a hint of summer in the outfit. I guess Iโ€™m not completely ready to say goodbye.

Get My Look: 1. Black leather moto jacket. 2. Rust colored T-shirt dress. 3. Black mules.
