STYLE GURU STYLE: Just A Jazzy Jumpsuit

Whitney Pozgay, the creator of the Whit spring 2015 ready-to-wear line said, “When you’re young, you kind of want to discover everything, and don’t let yourself be put in a box.” I was enthralled by these pieces seeing as they were probably some of the coolest and most diverse I have ever seen. From vibrant colors and novelty patterns to funky cut-out tops, these clothes had it all! The edgy pieces feature original prints while still throwing in some familiar floral patterns here and there. I had to get my hands on this look and take a stab at it myself.

I’ll be honest, I was hesitant at first to step outside my comfort zone with this look. Although I know this style is all the rage this season, a patterned jumpsuit was something I never tried before. Then once I stepped foot in this dynamic piece, I felt as confident as could be. The strapless one-piece suit had me feeling great in this springtime weather. The lively pattern on the suit really added to this fun look.

Channeling a model from the Whit line, I paired my jumpsuit with white sunglasses and wedges just as she did. Wedges pair great with jumpsuits and make your legs look nice and long. I chose my tan wedges because the pattern on them is adorable, but still simple enough to not take away from the trendy jumpsuit. The white sunglasses were a perfect finishing piece to the look and great for those sunny days on campus. Look out for the Whit collection because I have a good feeling this awesome style will be all over this spring!
