STYLE GURU STYLE: Hot To Cold

Summer in New York City can be unpredictable. One day it can be extremely humid and sunny, and the next day it can be chilly and raining. With the weather changes, it is always important to have a variety of outfits ready.

Taking inspiration from the Reem Acra fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection, I was able to transform my boho style dress into a completely ready-to-wear outfit. In this collection colors and dresses are what stand out to me the most. The dresses are the same length as mine and they follow similar patterns when it comes to design. The puffy sleeves give the dress character.

My dress has distinctive sleeves that add extra boho personality to the outfit. I was able to tie these specific dress details to create something comfortable and bold. The dress is what steals the show in the collection, and it does the same thing in my pictures. I also added special detail pieces to add my own personality into the dress. I was able to add my favorite shows that go well with the black and brown color scheme. The accessories I chose also allow for the outfit to get some special pieces in there. The necklace is handmade out of glass and is a souvenir I got while visiting Puerto Rico last summer. My wristlet is very colorful, and that is what drew me to buy it. I love the strings and the colors combined; it adds extra color to this very distinct color scheme.

Get The Look: 1. Leopard platform sneakers. 2. Black leggings. 3. Similar boho dress.
