STYLE GURU STYLE: Fun Neutrals?

Warm days are so rare this time of year. In Boston, anything more than 45 degrees is basically bikini weather, am I right? Last week, Boston was fortunate enough to have such a day. I couldn’t pass on an opportunity to throw on a skirt and sneakers for a walk around the city with my besties.

Walking is such a huge part of our lives in this city that sneakers are an essential. However, that does not mean you have to go for the sporty look every day. In fact, I wear sneakers with literally every type of outfit. The look I’m wearing in these photos combined my love for comfy sneakers with my obsession with white and gold.

I couldn’t find these Nike Air Max Thea sneakers anywhere in the U.S. However, after going on a family vacation in Europe, I finally managed to cop a pair. Not only are they super hip, but they are the most comfortable shoes ever.

In the spirit of new shoes, I insisted on wearing them. I decided to pair it with an all white outfit and one of my favorite statement neutral bomber jackets to keep the focus of my outfit on the shoes. Because the color of my jacket was similar to that of my shoes, it set the tone of the look I was trying to achieve. The outfit could look too dressy for a casual walk around the city, however, the sneakers bring it down the perfect amount of steps to the classy-casual level.

My jacket is from bebe, my top is from Brandy Melville, my skirt is from Forever 21, my shoes are from Nike, and my purse is from Florence! Although the items I’m wearing are sold out online, I’ve linked a few items that are similar to them so you can put together your own version of this outfit!

Who even said neutrals were boring?
