Falling into flannels! This is my favorite time of the year for fashion. The dark colors, the layers and of course pumpkin spice lattes. For this outfit in particular I wanted to go for something casual, and that can be worn on campus!
The flannel was originally a dress with a belt from Forever 21, so I took the belt a way to give it more of a cardigan vibe. I thought that this flannel would be perfect especially because the dark colors that are in the flannel represent what this season is about! The shoes were perfect, and I thought they would add just a light touch to everything since the rest of the outfit is dark.
The backpack was perfect to complement the shoes, and the sunglasses add that little bit of edge. This outfit is awesome for going to class, and going to the library for studying right after class.
Not only is this great for the classroom, but it is also great for us city girls that are looking for a super cute outfit to stroll around in while visiting the Washington Monument or checking out the Empire State Building.
It something that is super cool, casual and comfy as the weather begins to cool down. I always love to try different stuff during this time of year and to incorporate older pieces with newer pieces to bring something unique to my style.
This outfit was originally inspired by my younger brother, because he is always wearing flannels around this time of the year and overall just has a dope street style. I hope you all love it!
