These trends have been reoccurring in recent years and have become comfortable, go-to fall staples. Tom Ford took these trends and effortlessly combined them all in several easy and put together looks.
I would definitely say that my personal style revolves around comfort. As much as I would love to tell you that I wake up early and always look put together for class, I don’t. Most days, I roll out of bed 30 minutes before class and consider it a win if I remember to take my slippers off and put on real shoes. T-shirts and slippers might be my day-to-day uniform for class but I love getting dressed up for a football game, date function or a night out just as much as the next girl. Two lost pairs of heels later, I have learned that I definitely have more fun when I am comfortable. That being said, I tend to rely on several of the trends featured in Tom Ford’s fall 2015 show.
I am a huge fan of chunky sweaters, mostly because they can camouflage a pizza food baby really well but also because they are so easy to throw on and still help you look put together. Here I added a statement necklace to dress up my favorite sweater. Statement necklaces are always a handy accessory; plus, they come in a wide variety of price points and styles. Next, I added a pair of over-the-knee boots which further dressed up the simple sweater while keeping me comfortable. Over-the-knee boots may seem like an extravagant purchase but I bought my over-the-knee boots about three years ago and it is about time I replace them because they have gotten so much wear.
