STYLE GURU STYLE: Classy, Casual and Affordable

Oh my, it’s already December! I cannot believe how fast this semester is going and I am so excited to share my last fall (now winter) post with all of you. I’m sure you all are getting ready for Christmas presents and/or looking for clothes to get you through the winter that are durable, cute, fun and most importantly affordable.

First of all, it all depends on where you shop. My go-to stores are always H&M, Forever 21, American Eagle Outfitters and Francesca’s. These stores are very affordable, and also have clothing for anyone’s style. The look I focused on was a classy, business look, yet still casual.

For starters, my jacket and top are both from H&M and I especially like these two together because the top is shimmery and adds a little personality to the outfit. The bomber jacket works well with this look because it is very casual but can be matched with something (like the top) to look a little more professional. It is not like the typical “bomber” jacket that most people are used to seeing, it is less dramatic and I think it works really nice.

The jeggings are probably the most casual part of the outfit. They are light blue and allow the outfit to be little more comfy as well. I really like the color of these, because it allows the shirt and the jacket to stand out.

For accessories, I am wearing these beautiful teardrop earrings that I literally wear all the time—they go with everything and they are so cute! They also let my look be more classy and fun. For shoes, I am wearing some gray booties with a little heel. These are perfect because they match the top half of the outfit and really pull it all together. I also am wearing knee-high socks that are bunched down to give a little definition to the outfit.

I hope this gave you some ideas for possible Christmas presents or maybe helped you shop for some new clothes for winter. Just remember that it all depends on the stores you go to and don’t be afraid to try new things!
